With this log tip mold, make your own chocolate decorations!
Our tray is a transparent thermoformed mold, made from recyclable APET plastic, in our factory in France. It allows you to cast 6 impressions per plate to make your own chocolate log heels. The format of the imprint is rectangle, dimension 8.6x7.4cm x3mm thick. These are smooth log ends, without relief, which harmoniously finish the logs made with the “large model” log molds from PETIT.
Tip: add an additional decorative touch by poaching with food spray (your brand logo, Christmas motif decoration, etc.), or by adding crushed dried fruits (hazelnuts, almonds, etc.) to the molding stage, for example. .
Good to know : they are also available with a half-round log end shape, a perfect shape to nicely finish your U-shaped logs!
How to use the log tip mold?
1. Temper your own couverture chocolate (you can use white, dark or milk chocolate).
2. Mold the chocolate into the indentations, tapping lightly to avoid air bubbles
3. Let the chocolate crystallize in a cool place
4. Unmold carefully so as not to break the tips, and store them between flexible plastic sheets.
